Ness Technologies to unveil Kingdom system for HLS

Ness Technologies will unveil its new command and control system, Kingdom, for homeland security forces, at the Israel Homeland Security (HLS) 2012 international conference to be held in Tel Aviv, Israel, from 11-14 November 2012.

The Kingdom system has been designed to handle homeland tactical forces missions including chemical weapon detection and identification teams, search and rescue teams, and security and medical teams.

Capable of managing and monitoring missions of homeland tactical forces, the system can assist in allocation and assigning personnel as well as disseminate reports from the field and create a situation picture of real time performance of forces.

Ness Technologies & Systems Group (TSG) president Michael Zinderman said, "The home front is under threat every day, not just during emergencies – by terrorists, natural disasters and enemy forces in military situations."

Developed for war time, terror incidents and disasters of all kinds, the system includes rugged mobile computers and features a special touch screen which will be operated with gloves and protective clothing.

"Especially in times of emergency, when every second is critical, Kingdom empowers users to make the best decisions and enables the homeland security forces to best manage the situation," Zinderman added.

Currently deployed by several forces, the system also comprises of digital maps and GPS devices to provide user with maximum orientation and real-time friendly force tracking, while alerting them entering high-risk areas.
