NICE, G4S partner to boost situational awareness and streamline incident management

NICE Systems has collaborated with G4S’ AMAG Technology to integrate its NICE Situator PSIM and situation management offering with AMAG’s Symmetry Access Control system to boost situational awareness and streamline incident management.

Mainly targeted at global command and control centres, the integration establishes bi-directional communication between Symmetry and Situator and enables Situator to accept real-time Symmetry access control alerts and show them with access records and images of personnel.

AMAG Technology Symmetry Extended Business Solutions programme manager Shae Taylor said: "We are thrilled to certify NICE as a partner in our Symmetry Extended Business Solutions Program.

"NICE’s leading expertise in PSIM and situation management complements our advanced access control technology, enabling end users to benefit from an intelligent, unified solution."

Further, command and control centres can also link Symmetry access control information with data from other sensors for précised alerting.

Upon receiving an alert, the Situator’s automated processes direct operators through response plans to boost management efficiency, while bringing down the risk.
