Elbit delivers upgraded incident command team training system to Israel

The Directorate of Production and Procurement (DoPP) of the Israeli Ministry of Defence (MoD) has received the upgraded version of Incident Command Team Training System (ICTTS) from the Elbit Systems.

The Israel Defense Force’s Home Front Command (HFC) is already using the system for large-scale exercises and training sessions.

The upgraded system will enable the integration of military and other organisations into a joint-control tactical training arena to prepare for emergency events and disasters.

Elbit Systems Aerospace Division general manager Yoram Shmuely was quoted by Globes: "The ICTTS’s new features provide the Home Front Command a strategic advantage in preparation for emergency incidents.

"It provides unprecedented training synergy for decision-makers to formulate solutions to complex emergency situations, enabling them to maintain maximum response readiness for their municipalities."

The key features of ICTTS include simulation of outdoor and indoor environments, exercise flexibility in scale and duration, real-time generation of a broad of scenarios, adjustable simulator fidelity from very detailed incidents to large training areas and post-action review and reports generator.

It can train several security responsers simultaneously, with participants taking various roles in the event management process based on their areas of responsibility.
