CACI secures $407m task order to strengthen cyber security at DHS agencies

CACI International has secured a $407m task order to design, engineer, and integrate cyber security tools and processes for agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

This is a six-year Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Dynamic and Evolving Federal Enterprise Network Defense – Group A (DEFEND A) task order, which was awarded under the General Services Administration’s Alliant contract vehicle.

The mission of the DHS CDM Program is to provide protection and cyberspace security as the threat of cyber-attack is not only rapidly growing but also evolving.

Under this task, CACI will bolster IT security of DHS agencies by designing, building, deploying, and operating integrated CDM solutions, which include dashboards and tools for continuous monitoring, diagnosis, and mitigation, along with associated services.

In addition, the task will include asset management of software and hardware, vulnerability management, cloud-based and mobile devices, and configuration-setting.
