PBE unveils new advanced body armour systems

Point Blank Enterprises (PBE) has introduced new, advanced ballistic systems, carrier designs and hard armour products for the law enforcement, federal and special operations agencies at the ongoing annual 2013 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Neveda, US.

The new products include Advanced Warrior System (AWS), Advanced Plate Carrier (APC), Federal Tactical Outer Carrier (FTOC) and Emergency Response Team Shield (ERT).

Launched under Paraclete brand, the systems have been designed to address the high-performance requirements of both domestic and foreign tactical officers and special operations agents.

Point Blank Enterprises Government and International Sales vice president and Product Line Management head Michael Foreman explained, “Now more than ever, with increasing threat levels and new weaponry, officers are in greater need of cutting-edge ballistic solutions, combined with highly innovative carrier designs that can be adaptive under extreme situations in the field.”

The AWS system is ruggedly durable, adaptive, and modular in construction, while offering maximum freedom of movement.

Designed to serve as a tactical vest with a plate carrier, the APC protects the operator against high powered assault weapons and accommodates soft ballistic panels, Level III or IV hard armour plates and equipment pouches.

Enhancing mobility, agility and range of motion for the user, the highly scalable, side-opening FTOC carrier allows tactical units to configure the body armour system as per mission requirements.

Offering improved head coverage against other cut-out shields, the light ERT shield features an integrated weapons mount for single handed operation, allows users to operate in stairwells and confined space clearing/assaults as well as dynamic entry and routine patrol.
