Engineering Services Network wins SPAWAR C4ISR technical support contract

The US Department of the Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SPAWAR) has awarded a C4ISR technical support contract to Engineering Services Network.

As part of the contract, made by VT Milcom, ESN will be responsible to offer technical services to support the Enterprise Pier Connectivity Architecture (EPCA) 2.0 Implementation at Naval Computer and Telecommunication Area Master Station (NCTAMS) Atlantic (LANT) in Rota, Spain.

In addition, ESN will be tasked with offering similar services to support the Naval Computer and Telecommunication Station in (NCTS) Naples, Italy.

ESN Maritime Division senior vice president Paul Barber said: "Through a competitive, awards-based program, Milcom Inc. and ESN had to compete to win the task order."

Work under project will be carried out on a Multiple Award Contract (MAC) dubbed Sea Enterprise C4ISR Support contract.

In addition to offering hardware and software required for execution of Navy missions, SPAWAR supports the full lifecycle of product and service delivery from the initial research and development, to acquisition and deployment, to operations and logistics support.

As part of the Department of the Navy’s systems command, SPAWAR is responsible for delivering C4I, network, business IT and space capabilities.
