TASER receives multiple orders for its smart weapons

US-based TASER International has received order from Canada’s Ontario provincial police to supply 1000 TASER X2 smart weapons.

The company has also secured multiple orders in the first quarter in the US and plans to complete the shipment of weapons by the first half of this year.

The company will supply 50 TASER X26P smart weapons to the Amarillo Police Department, 75 X26Ps to the Anne Arundel County Police Academy, 200 X26Ps to the Austin Police Department, 80 TASER X2 smart weapons, 40 X2s to the Cobb County Police Department.

It will also provide 52 X26Ps to the Elmira Police Department, 40 X2s to the Gilbert Police Department, 52 X26Ps to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, 67 X26Ps and TASER Assurance Plan (TAP) to the Hemet Police Department, 61 X26Ps and TAP to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.

The firm has also secured international order for 90 X26Ps and will supply 46 X26Ps to the Kennewick Police Department, 46 X26Ps with TASER Cam HD recorders to the Lafayette Police Department, 45 X26Ps to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and 17 X26Ps to the London Police Services.

In addition, the firm will provide 45 X26Ps to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, 100 X26Ps to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, 85 X26Ps to the Michigan State Police, 152 X26Ps to the Mississippi Highway Patrol and 300 X26Ps and officer safety plan to the Mobile Police Department.

Other orders received by the company include 86 X2s to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, 13 X2s and TAP to the Ocala Police Department, 50 X26Ps to the Pasco County Central Detention Center, 300 X2s to the Phoenix Police Department and 50 X2s to the Pima County Sheriff’s Office.

It will also supply 2000 X26Ps to the Policia De Puerto Rico, 500 X26Ps to the Richland County Police Department, 50 X26Ps and TAP to the Sacramento County Probation Department and 120 X2s with TASER Cam HD recorders and TAP to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
