Suspect Detection Systems unveils Cogito C300R screening system

Suspect Detection Systems has launched a Cogito C300R remote mass thermal-based screening system intended for use by law enforcement agencies to remotely isolate potential terrorists and criminals in a crowd carrying weapons, explosives and drugs.

The Cogito C300R system has been designed for deployment at terminals, airports, border crossings, and entrances to sensitive buildings or public areas.

Suspect Detection Systems CEO Gil Boosidan said, "Cogito’s new remote mass screening system can detect terror suspects in real-time from a distance, prior to initial contact by law enforcement officials," Boosidan added.

The screening system has undergone testing at a major railway station in Asia as well as at Israeli airport under the supervision of local securities agencies.

"More importantly, this product enhances our company’s value with law enforcement agencies and private security companies, and presents opportunities for Suspect Detection Systems to sign even larger scale ongoing security contracts in the future," Boosidan added.

The portable mass thermal-based screening system will also serve as a new security layer to the existing Suspect Detection Systems’ proprietary threat detection systems.

Using a combination of audiovisual elements, customised interrogation methods, and a set of advanced algorithms, the Cogito technology helps in analysing outputs of a potential suspect’s Parasympathetic Nervous System during investigation.
