IDO Security to introduce MagShoe 3G at GPEC Expo 2012

IDO Security will showcase its MagShoe 3G shoe scanning device (SSD), at the General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference (GPEC) being held in Leipzig, Germany from 11-13 September 2012.

IDO Security general manager Yaniv Beran said the GPEC represents a prime opportunity to demonstrate the MagShoe in front of key Homeland Security decision makers who have the responsibility for maintaining security and smooth, safe operations for their security personnel.

Designed to extend metal detection instantly and accurately in footwear, the MagShoe portable device is capable of identifying suspicious objects up to four centimetres above the ankle without requiring passengers to remove their shoes.

In addition to providing increased comfort and convenience, the system will ensure extremely thorough and completely accurate security scanning.

MagShoe is also used for airport security, seaports, border crossings, government agencies, manufacturing facilities, logistics centres/warehouses and others.

GPEC trade fair focuses on police equipment and special technologies for members of authorities, executives, technicians and procurement officers.

The groups include police, border guards, customs and financial bodies, prison and justice services, government services and agencies and other military and paramilitary forces.
