Digital Ally to supply body camera and in-car video systems to Camden and Colorado Police Departments

Digital Ally has received contracts to supply body camera and in-car video orders from the Alamosa Police Department in Colorado and Camden County Police Department in New Jersey, US.

Under the first contract, Alamosa Police Department will take delivery of 25 ‘Complete Package’ systems comprising the DVM-800, FirstVu HD, and VuLink, as well as camera systems for their interview rooms.

The company will also supply 325 FirstVu HD body-worn cameras, accessories and docking stations to Camden County Police Department.

These systems are combined with Digital Ally’s patented VuLink technology, which is said to be the only product on the market that facilitates hands free activation of an officer’s in-car and body-worn camera systems.

Digital Ally did not disclose the delivery schedule, but noted that the contracts were awarded as a result of a competitive bid process.
