CACI secures DHS enterprise-wide information technology contract

CACI International has been selected as one of the prime contractors for the US Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) enterprise acquisition gateway for leading edge solutions II (EAGLE II) programme.
 
The company received an award in the unrestricted track of functional category 1 (FC1), service delivery category of the multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, which provides a range of IT support services to the DHS.
 
Specifically, the FC1 covers provision of a full range of services and products in support of development, implementation, and sustainment of technology to support the DHS mission and business functions throughout the entire lifecycle of a programme.
 
CACI chief operating officer US Operations president John Mengucci said the new work under the EAGLE II contract demonstrates the company’s broad end-to-end capabilities in support of major agency-wide programmes.
 
”Through our work across many of DHS’s components on EAGLE, the predecessor to this contract, CACI has contributed to the agency’s ability to meet its diverse goals and missions," Mengucci added.
 
Under the contract, CACI will offer a range of solutions and services, including support for system design, development, implementation, and integration, software design and development, as well as operations and maintenance solutions, processes, and procedures for DHS and its various components.
 
CACI president and chief executive officer Ken Asbury said protecting the homeland and and supporting agencies entrusted with this critical responsibility are always top priorities for the company.
 
”Supporting EAGLE II substantiates our ongoing contribution to national security as well as our proven expertise across the Enterprise IT arena," Asbury added.
 
The contract has a five-year base performance period and a two one year options.
