Sirius to power homeland surveillance platforms with EFOY Pro fuel cells

Sirius Integrator has deployed its off-grid mission-critical methanol EFOY Pro fuel cells to power mission-critical covert vehicles and outdoor surveillance platforms across North America in support of border and homeland security.

The remote power solution has been designed to provide reliable and maintenance-free power for longer durations in easily-deployed portable packages.

Capable of recharging small battery systems based on the battery’s voltage level, the EFOY Pros are installed under rocks to protect borders and reduce visits to hostile and critical sites.

Delivering minimal heat signature, the power cells help improve mission success as the enemy cannot easily see the activities happening on the border.

Expected to be made available soon, the next generation EFOY Pro 800 (45w) and EFOY Pro 2400 (110w) fuel cell models are capable of providing 50% more guaranteed power than current models and have a one year or 4500 operational charging hour warranty.

The cells also provide an option to configure with a new quad fuel cartridge switch to increase run-times in the field by twice.

EFOY Pro fuel cell system with four 28l fuel cartridges can also be connected to 112l of pure methanol and when possible, solar panels and micro wind turbines can be hybrid into the configurations as range extenders to save fuel.

Sirius Integrator develops customised and approved EFOY Pro enclosures for both hot southern and very cold northern border installations.
