A-T Solutions to support GSA counter-IED training programme

A-T Solutions has won General Services Administration’s (GSA) blanket purchase agreement to support Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO)’s counter-IED training programme.

Awarded to three other firms together with A-T Solutions, the five-year, $408m agreement, would enable offering essential training and support services for JIEDDO’s Joint Counter-IED Integration Training Program (JCITP).

A-T Solutions president and CEO Dennis Kelly said: "A-T Solutions is extremely honored to have this opportunity to continue our partnership with JIEDDO in providing essential training and support services,

"The JCITP contract allows A-T Solutions to continue providing expertise to enable the development and propagation of new operational tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs), implementation of current and relevant training to bridge operational gaps, and support testing of new counter-IED equipment and concepts."

Other three firms wining the agreement include The O’Gara Group, SAIC, and Wexford/CACI.

Awarded by GSA Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM), A-T Solutions’s work under the contract includes offering programme management and counter-IED training and training analysis support, in addition to institutionalisation of lessons learned and short-term ad hoc training requirements.

The JCITP is managed by the US Department of Defense’s (DoD) Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization and overseen by GSA FEDSIM.
